When times ticked by, things changed radically around us compared to the time of those blessed souls. The life has become a speed machine which cannot imagine to pause for a while.Modern time demands a more matching solution to their ever changing issues.
Eternal Happiness is the final destination of every living thing, a blissful living. Every action of every living being including humans on this planet earth is happiness seeking. Most of the human beings unfortunately become pleasure seeking than happiness seeking due to their detachment from their basics. That’s why the ancient Indian saints suggested an unique system called Yoga supplemented with Mudras which offers peace of mind by keeping our body healthy, a perfect approach to achieve happiness.
Most of the physical ailments of women are psycho-somatic. It appears to be physical sickness, but it’s basically psychological. Physical symptoms will never be cured if not psychologically addressed.
SheNest covers brisk Yoga, Mudras, transcendental Meditation, Psychological Counseling with additional tips of Zumba and Aerobics ; a holistic approach to heal the complexities of our present day life.
My happy bubbly childhood was blessed with many loving friends, caring parents and two brothers always supporting. A little bit reading of everything printed and a hand on creative writing during my school days contributed in shaping an outbound personality and instilled in me the ever burning thirst for knowledge.
When I returned and settled at Alappuzha after a short exposure in teaching at an international school in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, I was looking for my next opportunity to continue my studies. On completion of my Post Graduate Diploma in journalism from Kerala University I chanced to learn Yoga from Sivananda Yoga under Surendran mash to reduce my obesity. It did all the magic and there began everything, the blissful journey of shaping myself.
Continuous practice of Yoga for many years not only helped me to maintain my health and harmony of mind, it lead me to successfully complete many allied courses in Yoga like pg from university of Vyasa, QCA etc to sharpen my knowledge of Yoga.
Soon I found I have to stretch more of myself to read Yoga in another light and it lead me to many other streams of knowledge like Hypnosis, NLP and TA to mention a few. It was like I began weaving a web with Yoga around myself. Yoga attracted everything related to it to my life. So I did MSc in Psychology and successfully completed Certificate in Counseling & Physiotherapy.
Ever since my acquaintance with the new circle of professionals and friends, it has become the happiest things happening times for me, accomplishing the dreams I was following ever since my childhood.
SheNest is my humble attempt to create a platform for the women to gather, to share their feelings among themselves and to generate the feel of pride in their self.
SheNest has become a nursery for the new Yoga aspirants and found the like minded people among the members to make their team to follow their travel dreams, SheYatra.
5 AM Club was another rejoicing experience from SheNest which makes the everyday life of many women more meaningful.
